Heads side of the Dime

 

During the Great Depression of the 1930s, Roosevelt created the New Deal to provide relief for the unemployed, recovery of the economy, and reform of the economic and banking systems.One of his most important legacies is the Social Security system.

 

The dime is made of silver.  It is worth ten cents. Franklin Delano Roosevelt is on the heads side of the dime.  He was our 32nd President.  FDR was born on March 4, 1933.
